Well...looks like I've been assigned the editing job for "The Spot." I have to have it done by Friday...and my plate is already full. I hop I can do it some justice. I don't really have much to work with from the shoot the other day at the station, looks like I'll be using my footage from Dday 2 as well that I shot for "OveDrive".
The footage you guys provided isn't bad either, but its pretty much all from the same angles. However, I probably will be using some of it
I believe it will air this Saturday night on The Spot. It'll be about 2 1/2 minutes long. Hope ya'll like it, shit... I hope I like it...time to get back to work!

 

good luck ben, the first few events we really didn't have a game plan and we were stretched alittle thin, plus it was really really hot and Im a lazy bitch but I think at the next event we will do better, also do you have Charles's footage from miami? with the on car stuff?

Thanks man....so far so good. I'm looking for some good quality drift video from Japan. Mpeg format only. Easier for me to work with. Any links anyone? Need asap! If it looks good I might be able to use it, I only need a few seconds worth.

BTW- I hope I didn't offend anyone in my earlier post. The footage is good, I'm certainly not knocking it. Its just having some close ups to break up the wide shots makes it easier to cut video together, otherwise your looking at lots of "jump cuts"
I really do appreciate those of you that lent us footage for this project. Especially Charles' on car cam stuff...awesome stuff!
