hey hey hey we dont need to fight in here, this was actually the very beginning and she started over a few times after that, she just didn't know what to call it initially, at no point wad their any mention about the illegal side of it, April was really interested in the sanctioned events and really wanted to attend one to do the segment, but since there hasn't been one in a while, and wasn't one listed when we started the talks.

again I have been picking over every little detail making sure their was nothing that could have been used in the wrong way, and I was second guessing everything I said and picking it apart to make sure it wasn't going to be taken out of context. Im sure they could cut the stuff together to make it appear bad, but I dont know why they would when their target audience is mid 20's, they took the time to ask what people on TR are like and what they would like to see, they are trying to cater this to the younger crowd, not scare grandma and grandpa (not like they would be awake at 1am anyway)

What most people don't understand is that this segment will be aired to a "different" crowd, not a crowd of automotive enthusiasts. In television, a show must focus to the "Least common denominator". In the case of an automotive type show, you can use "technical" jargon. In a "variety" show like this, you can not.

Please keep in mind that this is a critical step for those of us trying to film these events. The outcome of this will determine the direction we take in covering these events. If the outcome is good, we may look into more "expansive" types of coverages, and maybe better equipment. The goal of this is to also help attract sponsors, not just for drivers, but maybe for locations.

There is alot of good that can come out of this. While hardcore enthusiasts may not agree with the show in it's entirety, they must understand that it is the next step, and we take what we can get.

Well seeing that I havent seen the actual "aired" footage so I can only go by what Ive seen thus far.

A while back someone being interviewed went really bad on TV. You want to target a younger audience, speak intellegent , represent the sport with intellect, professionalism, and THEN, ONLY then will you come across as an enthuist (sp) not some punk kid out there sliding his car around a corner barley hanging on. ( dont want to see this go wrong ) (NOR am I saying anyone sounded like that.)

Point in case I see all these guys who break dance and do it well (some not so well).. but act like fucking idiots. They make me sick the way they represent the BBoy scene. Its all about presence.

I dont care what you mean its all in how people preceve you ..... and you can ask anyone that !
