Drifting + Po Po = Felony!! story inside
Let me start by saying that I realize drift/spinning tires is illegal . Ok my shop holds shop nights for our club member on Tues and Thurs Nights.... Well this was no differant than any other Shop night .. We got our work done on our cars then decided to order a pizza and hang out for a while...When one of the guys decides to go get his 240sx that he just bought and try some low speed drifts in the post office next door parking lot ( which is not in any resident area at all) so he starts sliding ( very low speed ) and after a few minutes a cop comes...then another...then Another. Then the post master..so in 15 minutes we have 3 cops and the post master here and they held EVERYONE here. Long story Short My friend Got arrested ... had to pay 1000$ bond ,Charged with a felony ( criminal Mischeif), He threatened to give us all tickets for watching...Impounded the car..The post master served my shop a tresspass warrent .. and now says that the surface of his parking lot has been compromised and it will cost 50K ( yes i said 50,000$) to repave it. My friend has a clean record ( never has done anything wrong) and there still threatening him with 5 yrs in prson! I know it probably wasnt to bright for him todo this but I think this is going a little to far .... Let me know your opinions , Please be constuctive and not rude!

Hey chad you forgot to mention that the post master gave us permission numerous times that we were allowed to mess around as long as we didnt break anything. But I feel bad for him, Im just thankful I was bout 5 min away from gettin the ranger back out.

oh yes, I forgot about that , the post master actually came to my office one day and said "i know what you boys do here , I have no problem with it until things get broken or trash get left everywere heres my card if you ever need to get ahold of me"
Then with 3 other witnesses to him saying that he denied it right in front of the cop... Then about 10 minutes later he says to me " dont you think you abused the privilage I gave you" Man cant believ i forgot that part!!!!

and thats for cheap asphalt. we are going to have to repave the whole lot at my work cause he got a cheap $45,000 job.

Sounds like the postmaster set you guys up to get in trouble. Why else would he initially give you permission to drift on their property and then snitch to Five-0 behind your backs. It's a conspiracy........ c-o-n...spriracy
