consider there may be a person in a federal building at ALL times ?don't you think that our mail is not only sorted 24/7
but it's protected? Although we know now that he gave permission to you .....think of the post master's position
it's easier to deny than confirm .....right ? it not that you had permission but it was only verbal and was denied by other party.
have you ever hungout at a store or plaza where we had permission to "park & hangout" by SEVERAL of the owners/managers........and were asked to leave .....
police pressure ...in this case the postmaster chose sides
look for other avenues for defence ...such as altering
or just deny the "activity" you were performing and imply that
the parking lot is a common meeting ground for carz and not
just your friends either. how hard would it be to suggest that...
those marks could have been made over years of donuts and burnouts .the cop only witnessed "illegal exibition" which is the
same as a burnout or display in traffic.....?right ?
GOOD LUCK
TO MEGA THERION
Sorry to break it to you, but the Government has better things to do than to watch that fruit cake you're mailing to your Grandma. There might be a rent-a-cop that swings by every few hours, but no federal officer stays at the post office all night.
Also those cops can't arrest you for that, i can only think of tickets, and fines for doing that. Look up the statute he was charged with online, and find the loop holes...get a lawyer, explain to him all your points of view, and you'll get off with court fee's. The complete rediculousness of drifting in a post office parking lot is masked by the rediculousness of the officers present. Some cops are cool, some cops are dicks...looks like you got the greater of two evils this time.

Hey, I think I pass by that place on the way to the beach. Is it right by the road that goes by that stadium? I get off the interstate on River Rd. and hang a left at that road to head out to Gasparilla Island. I vaguely remember that there's a post office around there.

What is true? The story is, but that's it.
I already called him and talked to him, but this seems to keep going, and perpetuating bullshit, so I'll intervene.
Miranda Rights. Only necessary if they intend to question you, or ask questions during the ride that may incriminate yourself. The latter doesn't generally happen, but it's the rage on TV shows to Mirandize then interrogate on the way to "downtown". No ace in the hole, nothing there.
Secondly, it's you guys, admitted drifters, ect. versus a federal employee, and the guy in charge of the mail in Englewood, who has nothing to hide or lose or gain. Who will be more credible?
Third isn't not traffic fines and a slap on the wrist. He's being charged with a fellony. Fellony and misdemeanor are separated not by the crime itself, but by the punishment. Misdemeanor is less than $1,000 fine and/or less than 365 days in jail. A felony is greater than $1k fine and/or more than 1 year in jail. Federal offence is doing that time in prison, not Punta Gorda jailhouse.

true but the system will interpret it and it will be expedited to the courts .it will there bealtered and minimized as to validate the "provable and known offence ".
to elevate the "pending' charges will cause the judge the view
it as a 'miss interpretition of the charges "and will be "altered"
by the judge him self .
.there is no question of their guilt but rather the "crimes"
and damages resulting from the act..
street lawyers suck .... so spend the money
I DO WISH YOU GUYS LUCK !!!!!!!
