The postmaster gave you permission?
That sounds pretty super unlikely...what's the rest of the story?
Why does he say you "abused the priviledge"?

If it was the postmaster that gave you permission, then of course he isn't going to say shit in front of the cops....his ass would be seriously on the line for letting you do that.

This is why people are supposed to choose their spots WISELY. I think that 5 years in prison is obviously FUCKING RIDICULOUS for drifting in a parking lot with no one around (to harm) but yourself, etc.

was he actually arrested. or detained. you can be detained and cuffed for "safety reasons", but when they arrest you the need to read you your miranda rights.

i was in the car with the kid. we went around about 10 times in an ovel parking lot.(perfect for low speed drifting) but the last corner he hit we stoped, n he just sighed n was like fuuuuck. the cop turned to everyone watching as they were walkin away and kinda chased them down and made us all stay there for a good hour and a half. granted i got lucky for not getting a ticket.(the worst part is, that was like his 2nd time out there after like 40+ other times me n the other Speed Demons drifted out there)

From what i've heard they don't have to read you your rights unless they are going to interrogate you. did they give him his phone call?
