Who the fuck cares, it was a practice event. You guys are forgetting that there has never been an event like this in Florida before. Compare the track setup of DDay 1 to DDay2. One being very open and long turns, and Two being extremely technical. Some of you guys need to stop taking drifting so seriously at this level.

+2

a commentary is not exactly necessary at a PRACTICE event. sure, positive criticism is welcome so people hear their weaknesses and get better, but these "awards" are just rankings... unnesessary, and unwelcome.

Did i ever say any of these drivers were better than any other? let me quote myself again

Things I was most impressed with on D-Day 2 (In no particular order except what ADD is bringing to my head)
Did I ever say? "I am the Drift analyst god, whatever I say will be instantly turned over to ESPN for the official driver rankings..."

The answer is clearly "no"

I didnt project any hate towards anyone, only stated what shocked me, what moved me, and what got my blood pumping. Some others were moved by other things, and in one reply I did state that they didnt float my boat in the same way, but that their opinion was valid.

I made all my judgements given the material at hand... I judged them according to MY criteria and said that it was strictly mine and that others should feel free to create their own. I made it CLEAR that smoothness was my line of judgement, and explained in what way I thought certain drivers improved! All I have done is project what I appreciated in people's driving, but you guys have taken it and twisted it to seem as if I am flaming their past events, or placing them above others.

Everyone did awesome, and I just wanted to congradulate the people who REALLY shocked me in a formal manner with goofy made up awards that are presented in the fashion in which I was shocked (aka they did something, like Taka's mad flick entry, and recieved my "award" for that cool thing!)... If I missed something or someone who did well, its most likely that I was getting a drink, peeing, or maybe just not looking at them, but the people I did see deserve my thanks for making my day perfect. I suppose I wont do this again in the future, because people cant take compliments and flattery the right way anymore...
