First, i got the entire box set of initial d off ebay for like $75 shipped. Well worth it.
Second, as for all the shit talking...this is exactly why we need some sort of playoff at d-day 2. Prove who the best drifters in Tampa so people will lose the "i'm the best and been at it the longest" attitude.
third, i noticed that a lot of the "real drifters" on this forum have some sort of problem with initial d. It is a fucking CARTOON! It is not the Fast and Furious of the sport and has little to nothing to do with people jumping on the bandwagon. If you cant just enjoy a cartoon for what it is without making a big deal about it then you got problems

initial D got me into drifting? well i havent gotten into drifting at all yet because im just a newbie who got my car last week. But we all gotta start from some where right. I hope that one day i will be as skilled at driving as TAKUMI!!!!

and also from what i hear on different fourms some people see inital d and do jump on the bandwagon....but a lot of times its people jump on the bandwagon and then get into inital d. so i dont think id say it does have a part in recruiting bandwagoners....
