I wanna enter....im not all that great.....never drifted on a track before just around cones in my friend Alex's empty lot.....dont laugh if I spin out

 

i think having a cage to tandem drift is a little homo, but other than that i'll be there to lay the smack down again.

 

is there a fee for spinning out onto the grass...

 

I hope not...ill be SOL its all good its all a learning experience......hey Jonas its mike(the kid with the black 240 that was with alex lastnight at Ranjos) did he ever get his 240 going

Matt, looks like you tested the course out a bit...what was your impression? At the track day I was in 1st around pretty much all of those corners...and 1st gear runs out real quick when drifting. Jeff said he stayed in 2nd through that part of the course though and didn't have any problems.

 

i was in second part through all of it. very easy stuff in second gear. i was hardly giving it more than 20% throttle


the cages are for safety, bill.

 

John - of course you were gripping the course... drifting you would be careing a little more speed and throwing the weight around. No problem in 2nd gear...
