Anyone who has had a car that runs in the 10s knows the effort it takes to run that fast. You have to give props to anyone that is running 10s in any car. Who cares what kind of car it is. I now cory and I am sure that he will reach his goal. Cory and Ron both deserve pats on the back for super cool cars. I wish people would get over bashing cars because of the brand name. Cool cars dont have to be popular car,just fast cars!

 

these people dont get it.The only way they understand is to line them up and hand someone there ass.It's simple the way you make a car fast is power to weight ratio.300hp in a 1700lb car is going to make it move.You would need close to 750hp to make a full interior domestic run 10's.I dont think 90% of you even have a clue or know the kind of money and trial and error it takes to extract 300 to the wheels out of a 2.2 liter 4 banger ON THE MOTOR.In import racing dodge,chevy,and saturn are fully backing race teams.Honda is nowhere to be found, so the money comes out of the racers pockets developing parts.

 

Bwhaaaaa!!!!!! No you dont get it!!!! I could easily strip my car down to 2800lbs and romp but it would be useless no going to dinner with the wife and then stopping at gandy to run! Its a shell with a motor stop comapring street and strip, we have chevys/fords/dodge going 4-6 seconds! AND?????

I know exactly how much it takes to get a mustang into the 10s on all motor (went 10.05) and the power levels required. I respect any car that can do it. I have seen mid 11 sec street cars do it on all motor, but there is a BIG difference between a mid 11 sec and mid 10 sec car no matter WHAT type it is, and I haven't seen many (if any) mid to low 10 second all motor cars with a/c, etc.. running around

 

why would he need the ac off? it doesnt hurt the cars acceleration racing or anything...if he runs 10.99 with it off, he will run 10.99 with it on.

 

oh yea some american cars cut the a/c compresor off at full throtle,but most cars it takes power away.
