ericksracing that car will not be the fastest unit body car in the world. they are running 10.2's all day. they hold the world record at this moment in time. check it out....oh yeah. they are sohc's. so laugh it up at that ls vtec....

Actually the Erick's 10.2 run was on a 2.2L b-series motor. There is an SOHC in the high 10's low 11's but not 10.2's. For a 2.2L and no deckplate I'm curious as to what the rod length and rpm range of that motor.

as far as i know...its around 11k-12k...
and a guy named bisi is running the d-series single cam high 10 second car...and that car weighs like 1400lbs...so he's fast, but in a different category.

actually, it is a 2.2(stroked and bored) Dohc gsr engine in a back-half tube frame 95 civic coupe(1525 w/driver). Unoffically it has gone 9.9?? ... sorry to but in, just my 2 cents. Good luck Cory.
