I've never been into the whole "Muscle" car thing. My point was ... just that I wanted a little more pep if I hit the throttle, like a little more get up and go when I want to. Don't get me wrong it gets up and goes.... But yes, even if I'm dead stop at a red light and have it in manual it will go but normally will spin thru 1st year until it catches on 2nd....so I'm not sure on the whole gear swap thing. It's a 5.7 but to me ...

it moves but yes was just looking for a little extra without breaking the bank. Its a daily driver, not street racing or roll racing ever. If some douchebag pulls up in a camaro, or some ricer...I dunno... Just want to lower the odds of him blowing my doors off if I can. haha, hope ya'll understand what I'm sayin. Just a little more .. maybe just round the hp off at 400!! Seems like the 392 manifold would benefit one way or another?

And what else does the swap allow, other bolt ons to help increase HP or? Thanks for all the info in advance guys!

392 intake according to the links in Tacamo01's thread provides around 50ft lbs of tq and 20hp below 4800rpm. Above that the gains were minimal. But off the line you really feel the difference.

The pedal commander that Purplecharger2016 is talking about remaps the throttle curve so just touching the gas pedal is equivalent to much more throttle input. From everything I've seen it's a really cool little gadget.

For the same money as a Pedal Commander you can purchase a DiabloSport programmer and be able to modify more than just throttle response.
