Wheel hop = Mixture of power and somewhat traction. I had 380whp on my fwd talon, never had a problem with wheel hop on the street, as it spun through 3rd and sometimes 4th if I open throttle shifted. I took it to sunshine and wheel hop was so bad in first gear I had to shift. Then I spun the rest of the 1/8th mile after the '60 ft.
