no reason to get all sprung all over it, Told ya it was a valve problem. Next time you'll be able to figure it out a little quicker.

Nope, gotta wait till dad can lend me a hand. I've never done it 'on car' before. Not even sure if we have the right tool..

 

easy close the vavles, compressed air will hold them up or put a bunch of string or small diameter rop and turn the engine over by hand slowly till it stops. The rope will also hold the vavles shut. Sears should have a valve spring compressor not sure if it will work on a 2.2 however. Might not be enough room around the spring
