when was the last time it had a fluid change? how heavy a use has the tranny been put to....though autos are generally less abused than manuals, even they can fall apart...I'd definately change the flud, maybe the torque converter? dont really know enough about autos
Well, I used to haul about 2 palets of tile, thats about 1700 a palet. It was squating pretty good. but the ride was smooth. Other than that its been pretty light loads for about 6 months.
from 2nd and on, it does it when its warmed up. The OD is not flashing, when I put it in accsessory (sp) the light for the tranny will come on and nothing else. Its wierd, sometimes it feels like the fuel is cutting out and other Ill be at 40ish cruisin and itll feel like it pops into OD and back in here and there.
possible lock up solenoid malfunction, best to scan the tranny for codes, also always check tranny fluid in "Neutral" as the tranny pump does not operate in "Park" and will give you a false reading, i'm sure you already know that, but i see it so many times and at auto shops too, with 130K miles it sound like it might be getting ready for a rebuilt, as long as the OD unit is OK the rebuilt isn't too bad but to R & R and overhaul it will be around $1400 if you take it to a shop, about 1/2 or little less if you R & R yourself.
