Every HOA I've dealt with has the lawn under the responsability of the home owner, even the lawn in between the sidewalk and the curb most times. They will bitch to no end if your lawn is not satisfactory as well.

Or you could spray some random oily substance on her garage door and alert the local religious freaks by telling them you spotted the virgin mary on your neighbor's door. Everyone would be trampling all over her lawn....lol.

 

Here's a good one I saw in our old community. If you've ever used the spray-on tire shiner stuff, you probably know that it does a mighty good job at sealing concrete. Well, someone in our old neighborhood wrote:

"FUCK WESLEY POINTE"

on someone's driveway. You couldn't tell at all when it was dry, but when it rained, it was quite a sight.

 

So they finally replied. Attached is the violation taken with my camera less than 4ft away.

At the sidewalk this is invisible. At mid driveway , you think its a shadow. Directly beneath, or about 4ft away, you can tell its something like mildew.

They have a board meeting tomorrow which I will attend to ask a couple questions.

This HOA shit really pisses me off. Same type of shit happened to me just recently. I move in and a few days later I recieve this friggin' 80lbs bible. A few days later a letter telling me I must clean my mailbox. What a great welcome to the neighborhood.
