Congrats! I'm thinking of building a house to use as an investment property. I think I'll wait till hurricane season is over though.

Let's hope so - to be honest I haven't even looked except for a few things online, I only put in the application out of spite when the apt complex I'm moving in to told me they wouldn't have the apt ready when they said they would.

I was very suprised to get it approved

Paging Fordboy, Scott where ya at I need a 2 car garage lol!

Look in our area. Plenty of 2 car garages and much more affordable than South Tampa, yet close to everything.

LOL, don't hate, appreciate. Cheaper land, cheaper to build the same homes. If I build a house, it'll go in that area too.

We thought about it when we were looking. Too far from work and the rest of civilization for us.

Being a homeowner is such a great feeling, until 3 hurricanes head your way.

and cheaper trailer parks.. no shops... long ass drive... etc etc.. lol

It seems the best deal right now is in Town and Country near Billy and Frances. The values are still reasonable, nice lot sizes, not a high crime area, and the potential for a garage or building in the back yard
