Default '94 Honda Civic EX Coupe - F/S - Cheap

I have a 1994 Honda Civic EX coupe 5 Speed for sale. The paint is white. Body of the car is 7/10.

THE CAR IS BONE STOCK!

The car has a hydro-locked motor. A new pair of rods will get it running again. All the interior is included. It's basically a rolling chassis that you can scrap parts off of.

Like I said, the car is complete. Nothing missing. Every engine and interior part is there. Sunroof, power windows, etc.

I need this thing gone out of my driveway.

I have some Vision amber corners I can throw in fir you as well.

Pictures will be up soon.

Let me know if anyone is interested in this.

$1200 !!!!!!

Call me 813-380-3764

PICS:

^exactly, just new rods, lol. You need a new crank, new rods and the you need to press the pistons off the old rods and on to the new ones. New piston rings, new main bearings, new rod bearings, new thrust washers, oh and most of all, some one to do the labor. Anyways g/l with it, but it's funny how you say just rods like it's nothing, lol post pics cause it seems like a good car, 5spd?

Okay. Thanks for taking me as an idiot.

First, you don't need a new crank. The engine immediately stalls when you hydro-lock since water cannot be compressed. This means that the engine doesn't run with a bent rod or anything. Because of this the crankshaft isn't scored or unbalanced.

Second, if you have all the tools, a D series motor is easy to work on and or pull if needed. I've gotten the motor out in under an hour using nothing but jacks and jack stands. The motor is easy to disassemble as well. A couple of head studs and the head comes off. A couple of bolts and the oil can drops out. Easy access.

Third, parts for a D series are very very cheap. You can find them around anywhere. You can even pick up a new motor for $300 or a block for $150, thus would debunk the purpose of putting new rods in.

In conclusion, it's a old Honda. Potential buyers are either going to A: strip it out, B: throw in a different motor.

So I would appreciate it if you're not interested in the car, DON'T POST. Not everyone selling a car is a nitwit illegal alien with a grill full of Altezzas.

Thanks..... and it's a 5 speed.
