We had a good time but had issues. The car is at a friends shop now getting a new wiring harness made. All the extra is getting pulled out.

We ran strong for the 1st 8 hours. made it up to 3rd place then the car died. Tested everything, swapped out parts. ECU, TPS, airflow mter, crank sensor. even doscovered the intank pump was bad. replaced that. Still it wouldnt run.. only idle rough. that was it. so the 2nd day we just hung around. The other Fl teams did well. Also a partial FL team did great.. We todd honda was 3rd i think. and the Z team ninth. Taj 13th..

We wil get things figured out of the Sept event. 3 times a charm .. right?

 

that's a bummer... at least you got some time out on the track though. surely it was still fun. where's the fall race?

 

same place CMP in SC. well be back out there, I also have decided to get a 2nd car ready. I have a person that is going to work on a 75 2002 I have here. Bad rust. So its going to get a cage . So we will have a simple car.. webbers and a distributor.. should be easyier to diagnose.

 

This is my 95' 325i oem everything except borla exhaust.5spd. MT

 

Getting the car ready.. Tomorrow I take it out for a test drive.
