perf leather/leather is all i trust, anything else just doesnt cut it in my opinion. I'm all about saving my ass with a cows ass....or if ur suits from pakistan a yaks ass

 

1 piece leather suit, you dont need perforation all over. Just in the chest area is fine. A fully perforated suit is big money.

If you do mostly street riding you should be fine with a 2 piece suit. Just make sure its got a heavy duty 360 degree zipper. Ive had a 2 pcs suit split open on me once.

I would stay away from textile crap, it will not do you any good pavement skiing. I have heard stories of the textile melting on the skin. It is better then a sweater lol

Another good thing to buy is a back brace, the ones that come with a lot of suits are not as great as the strap on ones

 

i wish i could find the old thread on he textile jackets....showed how he fared off and how the jacket melted to him.

as for pants....any riding pants except for leather will rip on you...granted to riding jeans and other pants other than leather that are specific for riding will last a little bit long than anything else...give it an extra 30 to 50 feet and it will shred on you!

Why do you need a 1 piece suit for a zx14?

 

why would i not with a zx14 compared to other bikes, and I rather one piece then jacket and pants... i have seen wrecks when a guys jacket came up while he was sliding on the road and he had road rash all over his stomach

 

please post where u got this info from...because i completly disagree!

 

i have heard and seen pics from this guy, he had a joe rocket textile jacket and he said it melted to him and the pics were bad almost like he had nothing on at all i will try and find the pics..

but i have also seen where it has helped in wrecks....
