I have the solution. Replace the factor swing arm and raise the bike back up. It's obvious the helmet is just trying to put it self out of its misery.

Motorcycle superstore was advertising HJC helmets for $29 yesterday. Why not just get another one. Probably only slightly more expensive than glue and doublesided tape. Plus then you can let whatever dirty slore you find to put on the back your old sweaty busted helmet so she feels all safe and shit.

Yes, I bought the bike like that. I have a whole room full of stuff ready to go on the bike. New tires, wheels, brakes, sprockets, brake lines etc. Waiting till I get everything together to pull the bike off the road, paint it, put the suspension and arm back to stock, and put all the goodies on. Going bmw alpine white on gold.

after reading this thread I ended up buying a HJC helmet... before you say cheap crap, it's the webBikeWorld 2008 Motorcycle Helmet of the Year with the $449 MSRP price tag.
