Your top 5 bikes of the modern FI era.
This thread is kinda pointless IMO, some bikes excel better as a track/race bike, some for general street bikes, some for a mix (stock for stock).
I'm really impressed after reading the literature, reviews, etc on the 2009 R1 though. I think it ties a lot of technology together with advantages of a V configuration motor and an inline configuration, among all that other electronic crap.
I love my 2nd-gen R6 though. It doesn't have anything that fancy, lightweight & flick-able, enough power for me and low range torque makes it stick out as far as street bikes from the factory (the inline 4 ones in it's class).
