Do some research on them. Their improvements are only marginal over stock. Just do yourself a favor and go aftermarket. Penskes are pretty affordable.

I have no first hand experience with either. But i know both are a helluvalot better than hacking up the stock shit.

Send your stock bits to Lindenmann Engineering in CA. Far cheaper than Ohlins, Penske and all that nonesense and you will have a 100% improvement.

The expensive name brand stuff gets you more range of adjustment, with addition to ride height. A bit much for the avg joe and street rider. The stockers inproved are good enough for the track as well.

Anyone that knows anything about LE, knows they are suspension genius...

Penske is just as good if not better then Ohlins but without the bling. I have a LE built Penske on my bike. Best part is it wasnt that much more then said 400 dollars to revalve stock shock as mentioned in earlier post.

Yeah your real savings is in rebuilding the front, as opposed to spending 2k+ on aftermarket front end.
But even a rebuild and revalve of a stocker starts @ around $250. I think all after market shocks start over $600

Elka's are great too, and I believe very competitively priced with aftermarket shocks.
