Got some good stuff done today fellas! Cleaned the motor and got it in place. The paint is drying on the engine cradle bar things , and the caliper bracket. She's really starting to come together! Tomorrow i'm cleaning the carbs and replacing a couple o-rings. Gonna drill out the freeze plugs too so we can do the poor mans jetting.

racerral, i can't stand that dual headlight, so glad i have the single... to each his own though

You wont...

That thing is looking tight already...
Guess you'll just be down on power a bit without the dual headlight... everyone knows 2 is better than 1

i had a 94 around for a while. great little around town bike.

i don't know what tire it had on it. some tiny thing, but it didn't have the hp to give me any trouble. and i never rode it that hard in corners anways.

rear stock is an ungodly odd 18x4... comes with a 140/70... 150/60 fits.
It was fine back in 89 when introduced... nothing turned quite like it... but by mid 90's there was a reason the YZF were out.

I think it made 70-80hp... made more torque down low than my old zx6 due to their longer stroke.

Yamaha should of put an luminum frame and the yzf suspension on the FZR's... would have been the lightest and nimbles bikes on the market... instead they came with the YZF that turned out to be heavier at 1st...
