Damn dude, you got bored on the 650R? Or the girlfriend kept leaving you behind? j/k. Looks good. You're good at keeping the shiny side up, so keep it up.

haha well I guess i could say that, the 650r I feel would be enjoyable when i get older and bored with the seating position of sport bikes ya know? I thought about getting better suspension, rearsets, clip-ons, tires, brakes, exhaust, intake, PC3 and tuning (in attempt to make it more comparable to a 'supersport') .. after spending all that money (ending up with around 67whp at best) on that it would've been more in the long run then starting with a base R6

thanks though dude! and the GF doesn't push her bike too hard, i'm always leading when we ride together .. she won't let me be in back so i can watch how she rides .

those forks are just fine man.

if you start track riding and chasing times, then yes you can upgrade then. untill you get somewhere like a race track and learn how each setting makes your bike handle different, then figure out what your bike needs more of for your riding style. all those upgraded 3 speed forks and high speed shocks are just bling bling of a different kind if you don't use them by riding faster.

I have a little bit of a clue what each setting should do on my bike from reading tons of stuff, but can't push my bike hard enough to notice much change a few clicks either way. so for my street pace all that high $ stuff would be as pointless as a apc wing on a civic.

now for my last bike I played with the setting on the same set of coners for a while. but my focus wasn't going faster, it was soaking up a hiddin mid corner bump better and still not feeling sloppy loose. I felt safter thinking my bike would handle the unexpected bump at all the wrong time better.

^ I hear you man, I've seen a lot of pics of people at the deals gap R6/R1 convention with my bike seeming to be pushed pretty hard along those roads..

The bike will be getting only a few cosmetic mods for now (no added weight even!)

My gf and friends wife are going to Jennings all girls track day next weekend, maybe me n friend will come up and do North Run or ozello with u if you're down
