Medical bills are covered by the person who is injured regardless of who was at fault in the collision. That is what the "No Fault" law here in Florida that the special interest crook Charlie Crist called a special session of state congress to get re-instated after it was voted down ensures. You can be sitting at a red light and get plowed and the medical bills are still your problem. Thanks Charlie 'crooked' Christ!

update:
friend is doing great. able to walk a bit but still on a walker.
passenger: incomplete fracture of the cervical spine. nerves/myelin sheath is intact.
no broken leg or ankle just very bad road rash.
both will be ok

i told him to stop riding at night and he never listened.
i was wondering why he didnt give his helmet to the passenger. either way they both were responsible for themselves. the girl asked my friend for a ride since it was her birthday. took her around the block and after 5 minutes... bam, road rash.
