Unfortunately most Floridians who have insurance only have 10/20 limits which is nearly worthless. Sounds like the girl has $300K-$750K in medical costs alone. I dunno why hospitals even provide bills for this king of shit... they should just hand you bankruptcy paperwork and a note that says "You're fucked, have a nice day!".

hospitals are over rated. im guessing with the procedure she is about to do/done.... maybe around 75k to 130k. she got released tonight (she has been in shands hospital since monday evening).
i know someone who wasnt wearing a helmet around town. he hit a sandpatch around 30mph on a corner and flipped his bike and busted his jaw.....
he now owes 70k from Shands hospital ( no insurance). pwnd.

Why would he allow someone to ride with him without a helmet???..doesn't seem too bright or responsible to me...Speedy recovery to both

My thoughts exactly. It really bothers me to see pussy riders giving girls rides and not a helmet. At the very least give them your helmet. Nine times out of ten its the rider controling the bike's fault that there was a crash, so they need to take responsibility for their own actions not the passenger.

Medical bills are covered by the person who is injured regardless of who was at fault in the collision. That is what the "No Fault" law here in Florida that the special interest crook Charlie Crist called a special session of state congress to get re-instated after it was voted down ensures. You can be sitting at a red light and get plowed and the medical bills are still your problem. Thanks Charlie 'crooked' Christ!
