Get something that you will not be too upset over laying down a time or two.
And preferably something Fuel Injected.

Most of the newer 600's are stout and come off the showroom floor as very capable machines.

My preference has always been to learn on the dirt, then with a bit of confidence, transition to doing a track-day or two... with coaching.

Your still a big guy david, i'd go with a 600cc as a starter..if I had to pick one for you (after knowing your taste and style) and whats the most comfortable, i'd say go with a F4i. They can take a hell of a beating and its a honda, if it has oil and gas in it, it will ride.

 

^ I've had to witness that. OK man thanks I'll look into the F4i, but I like the way the ninja looks. I'll keep researching and I'll make sure its 600+.

EDIT: I really do like the F4is and they are coming higher recommended, and I just had one of the strongest deja vu's ever about "F4i"

Ride a few bike's and see which one's you feel comfortable on! Everyone is different...What ever make's you comfortable is the bike for you!

 

Yeah thats what i was planning on doing, I'd been on a CBR 600RR before and I think thats what Majins was, so I've seen his and sat on another friends. So i'll still keep looking around.
