Well I learned on a Honda 125 Night Hawk... And as soon as I felt very comfortable with the Honda I went straight to a 04 Ninja 636...At first it was a little difficult to get adjusted to so much more power and clutch, but in a couple of hours I was riding it all around... So in my opinion you should start off with like either a 125 or at most 250.... So if anything Ninja 250r it is...lol G/L

your kidding right, if you buy an 08' you have to do work before you can even ride it cause its so fucking ugle, the pipes on it are retarded. I do like the changes to the front end. they fucked up the back of the bike hardcore....

plus paint is just paint.

 

A good amount of people in here are reccomending you to get a 600cc bike, dont do this. I dont give a fuck if youre a goddamned ape man like Brandon or what. Get a Ninja 250R, you will LEARN how to ride on this thing. After you do your Marines stuff u can sell this bike for a decent amount and then move on up to the bigger bike when youre ready and know exactly what to do in any number of situations that can arise while on a bike. The whole goal here is for you to be absolutely comfortable on any machine you hop on to, and to be incontrol of it rather than it being in control of you. Goodluck with your purchase and for beginning your venture into riding.
