running from cops
Listen, guys. They don't have to even pursue you. All they have to do is get close enough to get your tag and its all over.
Can a bike dip out one one cop car? Damn skippy it can. But you never know where the other cop cars are. Juse use your judgement.

someone was talking about weighing the good with the bad....
okay, well lets do that.
the good: you "Might" get away if your lucky and dont lay the bike down around a corner or get in an accident with another car.
as the people know who have been in a pursuit, your mind isnt exactly working very well because your scared, excited, nervous, etc.. which makes the probability of a wreck go wayyyy up, especially on 2 wheels. combine that with the fact that your doing
2-3x the normal speed limit = death to bike... death to you maybe.
the bad:
1. you are putting your life at risk! is anything really worth your life? a ticket or a courtdate hopefully isnt worth that.
2. your putting the lives of other innocent bystanders at risk. thats right, your 400 pound chunk of metal can do a lot of damage moving @ 150+.
3. your putting the cops life at risk, and if something happens to him and they find you.... "welcome to the big house, cutie."

If you feel the deputies is being a dick about pulling over and feel he's not doing his job accordingly, just ask to speak with his Sargent! Things will changed rapidly since his boss has been called to the scene. Just act a human muture being and things will go its way!
