i heard elite performance is pretty good. just a thought. have them check your valve adjustment. i know i had wanted to take it somewhere and have that done because it probably was due and i don't believe the owner before me ever did it.
i just never got around to it and since i did all my own work on the bike i never had a reason to have it at a shop.

valve adjustments are usually pretty easy IF you can get to them
BUT you will need a service manual for specs and how-to's. To get a valve job done at the dealer i wanna say it runs somewhere over $200. If it hasnt been done it probably NEEDS it, it will quiet the bike up quite a bit to most likely since out of spec valves make quite a bit of extra engine noise that you prob dont notice now, but itll be night and day difference when you get it back I assure you. If you dont do the valves and they are out of spec expect to be replacing rocker arms and be lucky if you dont F up the cam lobes by scarring them or wearing down their 'ramps'. I mean you can go thousands of miles with them not in spec, but just have it in the back of your head, when you can afford/get time to do it, do them.
