don't scare him. the valves would have to be pretty far out to cause damage. otherwise they are just noisy. i don't really know what is involved with doing one and seems like i called elite performance once about getting it done and i was told 199 plus parts. i think you can find out what is involved in a valve adjustment in the book i gave you.

will my bike really be like night and day after I get the valves adjustment? will it run a lot better?


Got the bike back from RTM. THEY DID A GREAT JOB. FIXed it in less than 24hours... minor problem, but i also got the fork seals replaced.

good to hear. what was the problem?

as far as the valve adjustment it should make it a lot quieter. not sure if you would notice any performance differences though.

wouldnt recommend them...i had a tranny problem and that wanted 3 grand and months to fix it....cahills did it in 2 weeks for 1300.....just my 2 cents...
