i used to work at harley tho police bikes definatly weighed less than any fully dressed bagger there. they have smaller bags on the side and the black box only has a few small electronics in it. all the lights and wiring maybe 25 lbs. i worked at harley for over 7 months. they are all peices of shit. they break down so ez and are a fortune to fix.

My bad.. just looked it up and that 1200 was the gross vehicle rating..

As for breaking down constantly, I know many harleys with 60k+ miles and know someone that just got rid of his with 190k mikes... Seldom had problems.

its funny because people keep saying how the bike was catching up to the intersection to stop traffic but by looking at the tape.... he doesnt look like he is slowing down much at that intersection to stop anything. the cop was going way too fast and was driving wrecklessly... just because its a funeral doesnt mean u get to drive around with no worries especially if you are on a motorcycle. the suv went through the stop sign like 95% of the people in here would have done and had plenty of room to make it through the intersection if the cop wasnt driving wrecklessly... anyways i hope everybody ended up being ok and some lessons are learned the hard way
