What an asshole cop, and guess who gets the ticket?? (video)
Who was at the stop sign?? oh the suv. You can argue all you want, but it is the suv's job to check the intersection.I have been to a few funerals and what the cop did was normal.I bet the cop wasn't even speeding since the vehicles in the funeral were probally going slow.
Your arguement is pointless.Thats like me slamming my car into you off a stop sign then blaming you for doing 3mph over the limit

probly like a 25mph zone and the harley flipped the element over... i used to own 1 and they arnt very top heavy.
he had to be flying to make that kind of inpact with a 700lb bike.
i mean seriously. the element flipped from a bike...
my guess would be somewhere around 55-60+
if you notice. she has plenty of time to get through the intersection and she was stopped at the stop sign. she did nothing illegal there and she was hit in the right rear quarter panel, she didnt hit the cop, he hit her... there was nothing that lady could do.
and she got ticketed because she was hit and got flipped by a cop??
and it didnt look like the cop was directing anything...

wow daxdaxdax you know the laws huh.She did nothing illegal. You are the people I worry bout riding near since you didn't know a common law.
here is the law buddy
Funeral Processions
Pedestrians and drivers must yield the right-of-way to funeral processions. When the first vehicle in the funeral procession lawfully enters an intersection, other vehicles in the procession must have their headlights on as a signal to other drivers not to drive between or interfere with the procession while it is in motion unless directed to do so by a police officer.
Now I know the people who don't know jack will make excuses so go ahead.

dude, your a retard.
the cops was fucking hauling ass, i'm sure the lady was looking at the car that was video taping, which she had more than enough time to cross in front of. and never even saw the big hauling ass around everyone. on top of that shit... the cops were doing such a shitty ass job, bet the chick had no idea it was a funeral.
and just to add... yes if your doing easily dubble the speed limit and someone crosses in front of you and you t-bone them... its your ticket and if you hurt the other driver, their lawyer is going to have a fucking field day with you in court.
but it was a cop, so it can't be his fault

the part i wonder about is why the hell the car video taping had such a big ass gap between the other cars in line when they should be doing under 30, which i'm guessing would be the speed limit.

If you look real close he ended up low siding before impact. He grabbed brakes and swerved to the right as far as I can tell.

It is hard to say who is at fault from that little video clip, but I can definitely see why the SUV thought it was okay to go. There was a huge gap between the last car through the intersection and the next car coming. Should she have seen the motorcycle? Maybe, but without seeing the shot from the perspective of the SUV it is hard to say.
What I do see on the video is the motorcycle swerving into the SUV!?! He had plenty of room if he just stayed in the lane he was in while passing the video car. He had to go out of his way to swerve right into the SUV that would have been clear of the video car (and the motorcycle if he didn't swerve). Also, why was the video car so far from the car in front of it? If the video car was in the funeral procession, they should have been right behind the car in front of them, not half a block away.
In any case, I think it is really hard to say this is the SUV driver's fault. I bet 99% of people would have gone after sitting at that stop sign waiting for God knows how many cars that were clearly in the funeral procession to pass by. She finally gets half a block gap and decides to go... I probably would have to if that motorcycle was hidden behind the video car.

I also think that hauling ass on residential streets and passing a car through an intersection is illegal as well.
The lady probably commited just as the cop went into the other lane to pass (illegally pass). He was probably going so fast that the lady just couldn't do anything.

Cop should have already been at that intersection stopping traffic if they didn't want anyone crossing.

To me it looks like the lady had came up to the stop sign after the first cars went by. If i pulled up to an intersection and there were cars there and i did not see a hearse of any kind. I would just think the street was busy. If there's a huge gap with plenty of time to pass through the intersection. Why would you think otherwise.
Oh and FTP and all that good shit.
