Ok an update, I talked to tom about specific tires. I think from what some others have suggested that I'm going with Metzler M3's. He quoted me 115 for the rear and 90 for the front (mounted free) which is indeed cheap.

The issue now is another shop offered to get me the tires for 30 bucks more than what RTM has quoted me also mounted and balanced for free. So...I don't really feel like their doing me much of a favor now. I'll call Tom again tomorrow and let him know the situation and see what he says.

What do you all think of that?

 

they aren't doing you a favor. mounting is usally free when you purchase the tires from them.

M3s , thats only a few bucks cheaper then you can get the PPowers for... Their not even selling the tires at cost , i know its not their cost when i can get better tires cheaper at other local dealers....I would re negotiate with tom

 

i remember they charged me 100$ for leaving a bike there a day. lol that old faggot (probaly the owner) slip that in at the last min. everything there is overprice - who the fuck would pay 1000$+ for used 50CC dirtbike yep thats why i haven't visit that place in years. they also charged me around 400$ to clean the carburator which i don't know if they did it or not because my bike problem wasn't fixed. but that was back in my noob days for taking it to any shop

 

if ur lucky its a $10 gasket. I went to the Honda dealer to get a valve cover gasket for the XR and it was $38.00!! :Wtf: i told them.

 

well I talked to him and he paid 10-15 bux if you don't believe ask him to link the damn receipt since now cost sounds like an excuse not to fix a bike lol.I would rather hear we facked up instead of we tried to save you a few bux,That would then be admittance to they did this on purpose lol

 

haha, i never said i didnt believe you, i was just telling you that some gaskets are expensive as fack and maybe that was their reasoning still shady as hell though and why no one touches my machinery other than me.
