Ive had well over 1K rounds through my sw99, not a single jamb.. but I also keep her clean/oiled and only use quality ammo.
Krystle, go to the next Tampa gun show.. check out the kel tec's, great price, plenty of fire power and tiny! would fit in your pocket no problem. plenty of other firearms out there around the same size... just bring your jacket and see what fits in the pocket, lol. could always rock a shoulder holster under your jacket..

i sold my G26 for a Keltec because i found myself NOT carrying my glock at ALL times. I carry my keltec anywhere and everywhere (legally) and it slips right into my pocket. in the morning my keys, cell phone, cloves, and gun go right into my pocket and it stays there until i go to bed. BTW: CWP get you outta almost ANY ticket. Got pulled for riding the motard on a huge grass embakement. Once i told him about my gun he was so wrapped up in securing it and what not he let me go with a verbal warning. Ive had this happend just like i described probably 4 times now.
CWP paid fpr itself in traffic ticket savings.
Chuck Norris taught me how to shoot people with my mind. so i have no need to carry......
but on a more serious note, its all about preference, if i was 21, i would carry just because of the world we live in, and they're are some outta control motherfuckers. and as stated before, its better to have it and not need it that to need it and not have it.

The odds of you actually requiring the use of a gun have got to be about on par with winning the lottery. Aside from that, IMO, carrying has more cons than pros...what if the "bad guy" gets your gun? What if you kill the person? ...you're probably going to jail whether he was a criminal or not.
What if you mistakingly shoot an innocent bystander? Aside from that, during a normal altercation with police (traffic stop for example) they're going to be alot harsher with you. In almost every scenario I can think of, carrying a weapon would only escalate the situation. I'm all for freedoms and guns...but carrying a weapon on a daily basis seems like overkill to me. Ofcourse, that's just my opinion....which is based on the my 24 years of life where I've definetly been in some situations....but absolutley never saw the need to use a gun.

i agree with u on this point. ive always been more the type that i would much rather use my fists and defend myself with my god given abilities than to use a gun, but at the same time the world is becoming a more fucked up place day by day and id feel much safer if i knew i had the protection of a gun with me when some crack head runs up to me and trys to bike jack me.
for the people that already have their CWL.... could i go and to the class before i turn 21...that way whenever the day comes...i can just do everything that needs to be done...or do i have to wait till i turn 21 to take the class....
i dont carry obviously..... but i have a walther ppk/s .380, beretta 92fs 9mm, smith and wesson .38 snubnose 2½" barrel, and a walther p22
i plan to carry each and every day wherever i am......
+1 on having it and not needing it, then needing it and not having it

BTW, Since Ive gotten my CWP i have been yanked about four times. Every time i tell the officer i am carrying. EVERY SINGLE TIME i have gotten off with a verbal warning. And for your information, there are more laws now protecting your rights of self defense, you should do a little reading
And yes, i think you can go ahead and take the class, if i recall there were 20 yr olds there
