I just dont want to put it in the cops hands to choose if hes going to slam me to the ground and impound my bike and take me to jail or if hes gunna be cool.

i think bikers should team up and make a political group and take over the congressional office and give all bikers the right to do whatever the hell they want but is required to make a certain track time at jennings lol.

LETS TAKE OVER THE WORLD!

That is one of the most ignorant statements ive ever heard, if you can afford to change your sprokets, and you can do wheelies to look like a badass... then you can AFFORD to stop and pay the damn ticket/go to jail whatever you deserve. IM glad you dont live near by me, and it wolnt sadden me a bit if i happen to come across a rider down thread in your honor, and I will DEFFINATELY not be going on any rides Off of TR or TSB if i know your ignorant ass is involved. Lets just hope you kill your self, and not any innocent people that way only your patents have to suffer for your ignorance
OK , Ill give you its an ignorant statement... I lost my girlfriend too due to a bike accident...It was a similiarmsituation as above , if the biker didnt die , ida killed him... But as much as i agree with you about the stupidity of his statement , im saddened by any pointless loss of life... whether deserved or not , no one deserves to die...
Buying sprockets tells me one thing... Hes more then likely looking to power it up as opposed to clutching which i can do on my bike in 4th with factory gearing. Power wheelies are not the way to go for a controlled lift and duration...

In sarsota by sesita key beach i was behind a blue gsxr that poped a wheelie with a cop on the other side of the intersection...and the cop didn't do anything... if it is a law or even a felony im sure the cop would have chanced him down....I haven't heard of this new "law" untill reading this thread...

No, some cops just don't give a $hit or don't feel like running them down... Too much work.

Listen, people run.. it's not right, but it happens. It's a personal decision, if you need to endanger lives other than your own to flee a pursuit, then you really need to stay off a motorcycle.

That's right, it's the law's fault, not the careless kids on cheap bikes doing stupid things.

well wreckless driving is definatly against the law and yes doing a wheelie falls under that law.the traffic laws are no diff in sarasota....state by state laws are a different story.but still illegal in every state i've been in.some just have diff names like C&I is what st louis calls it....some cops dont bother.if a guy is gonna wheelie right in front of a cop the cop is prolly pretty confident that he isnt gonna stop for his sirens.lot of cops just figure they will be penalized when they go down and dont bother.
