It dont matter if you have payments or not. If your bike is impounded and you are either in jail or just cant afford the tow bill, the towing company will own your bike. FREE AND CLEAR. The loan on the other hand would still be your problem. Trust me when I say it. I work for a towing company and now own a bike and two cars that people didn't pick up. Ever wonder why some of the towing companys sell so many cars?? They dont buy them they take them.

Hey Sneakin Deacon...i saw this kid pick up both an sv650 and an sv1k for a few blocks on one wheel...those things will wheelie...they'll just have the front cylinder starving for oil and cause mucho wear.

I don't run from the cops...ever. and i only like to pick it up away from any traffic (most of the time)... But if a cop puts their lights on for seeing me do a wheelie, and i think about getting a felony...i can't stop; I'm a mechanic and a careless driving ticket on my record, or a traffic felony means no job. Laws are getting so gay, why can't cops go after the muggers, rapists, theifs, druggies and murderers.

They do! The punk ass the ran from the police on his GSXR and hit my girlfriend is now doing time for Murder of course after being released from the hospital where he spent 3 months trying to recover from injurys. Thats right murder 2. Death of another while commiting a felony. DIDN"T GET HOMICIDE OR MANSLAUGHTER HE GOT MURDER. 25 years to life for running. And IMO he should do every freaking minute of 25 years and it wouldn't break my heart to know he is in for life! All for a simple traffic ticket. One dead and another in jail for up to life.

Topher , theres never too many people who can say they know what that feels like... I was just there 6 months ago.. I feel for you man... In my mind , 25 years doesnt do her justice...Our pay checks pay for his survival...
The Law does exist , wreckless driving is less severe then exhibition of speed. But hes right , you have a 50/50 chance of a cop giving a shit enough to chase you down...But if the situation gives them the edge , bet your ass they will nail you...If you get hit with exhibition of speed , call your lawyer , you will need them.

I know we're not all geniuses on here, but wouldn't the root of the problem be doing the wheelie? If you didn't do wheelies on public streets, then you wouldn't have any fear of getting a felony and losing your job. I know, I know, it's the law's fault though. We wouldn't want to accept and responsibility.

Hell yes! I hope that fucker sits in his cell not one second less than 25 years. But a wheelie is just harmless fun, huh guys?

do wheelies , run from the cops when they light you up... they wonlt chase 90% of the time, the other 10% only take a min or two for a guy with like 6 months rideing exp to loose safest time is night on lone roads imo...

and yes, ive gotten ticket for it because i was doing one though a parking lot at a bowling alley at night, and dident see the speed bump hit it and ate shit! lmfao... only reason not to run is if you whip out and cant run. then your fuked, but atleast your going to the hospital and not jail

FWIW - my younger bro is an HSCO and he rides as well. If some guy trys to run from him, he said he probably wouldn't bother trying to chase him down. He will will light em up, but if the biker doesn't act like he is going to stop it ends there. Oh, he did say if the guy did stop the ticket would probably go to the mouthy punk that likes to ride around in shorts with sunglasses and a wife beater as opposed to the respectful guy with gear and has all their crap in order (lic, regist, ins, tag, tail lights ect..)
