I've seen that pic with the pole about three different times with anywhere to a boat accident ot motorcycle. Either way ??? said it, you are in control and you need to drive defensively (witha little offensive stuck in there) and ride to live like he says. I have hit two cars, first one would not have occurred if I had experience, second one had not chance, but ebing prepared saved me from serious injury. THere is not time to relax when riding ont he street, that's when it happens.

great thread. We all ride knowing that it's a big risk even more-so in Florida. And ofcourse I'm sure most of you feel the same way I do that it is worth the risk doing something you absoulutely love but never think it can't happen to yourself. Always wear full gear knowing that it can happen at any moment, you can go down or someon else hits you, ride VERY responsibly and like everyone says drive like the cars don't even seen you *which most of the time they dont*.
