Live to ride, Ride to Die. *WW*

I used to say to people that I knew that my death would be because of my motorcycle. I've come to realize that its a stupid thing to say. Dying because of a motorcycle is tragic, pointless, and stupid. There are people in this world that I don't want to leave behind, and its them I think about when I look at the bike. If I was all alone, I probably wouldn't care, but I'm not. I may not have children, but there are people whose lives would be hurt tremendously if I were killed. I care about them and I refuse to put them through that.
I respect everyone's right to run their own lives and I'd never tell anyone to not ride a motorcycle. Unless, of course, I really cared about them.

I just want to live life to the fullest, when death comes I'll embrace it, until then I'll keep on living.

I will try to clarify what I meant...without sounding too religious because I am not exactly the most religious person you will ever meet.
When its your time to go, it doesnt matter if your on a bike, in a car, sleeping, or walking on the beach, it doesnt matter. I mean sure, original plans might have been for you to die in your sleep, but your out on the bike instead...when its our time, it doesnt matter what we are doing at that time.
That is all I was saying, you cant escape death, "Final Destination" was a movie.
Its everyones right to believe what they want. Hell, I could have easily died in my accident, instead i got a broken arm. Just because I could have died doesnt mean I am going to quit riding, I did not do anything to cause the accident and there was nothing I could do to avoid it I was doing everyhting right when everything went wrong, I was in the outside lane (so that my headlight was as visible as possible over the median on CC) I was traveling at exactly the speed limit, and I had on all of my gear.

i know what you meant... i just don't agree. you can kill yourself wayyy before your time with a bike.
now you can die all those other ways also, like in your sleep and stuff. i just can't put the two together... like if you don't get on a bike the night you were going to get killed, but went to bed early instead, that your going to die in your sleep.
just sounds silly to me.... of course everyone is open to believe what the want but don't use it as a reason to over look the danger of riding a bike.
