Not really, i didnt mean that they would help you out hands on at track days, trackdays are more of a Free For All. if you want hands on, class room instructions sign up for a racing school. every track day they spend 10 mins teaching the newbs the basics, but honestly you'll be fine, they split everyone up in 3 classes, novice, inter. and expert. If you go out with the novice you'll be fine, you'll probably be faster than half of them.

My main problem will be getting the bike to the track.
i got an F350 that i bring it holds 2 bike in the bed... and i'm trying to pick up a lawn mower trailer at sam's club for $500 (what a freaking deal)

i'm going to warn you take it easy the first couple of times to the track. being fast down patterson rd isnt the same as a fast lap around jennings. lean angle is a very temprmental thing too much you over extend the tire and suspension limits. you dont have to drag your knee to go fast, my right knee barely hits at jennings (10/14 turns are lefts) my right knee hits in turn 9 and thats it 12-14 i hang more off the bike keeping the bike more verticle to give me enough rubber under me to pull 145 mph going down into turn 1, but your on a 600 it will be a little different most liter bikes are constantly spinning the tire around the track.

Couldnt agree more with everything said. Pacing yourself is so important, just bc u think you can ride down patterson at a quick pace doesnt mean much on the track. I too am one of those rare guys that hardly drags knee, but i do drag frame slidders/body work on occasions... i actually dislike dragging knee, its noisey, lol. Feeding that adrenline rush isnt the best way to be fast, if you want to be fast you need to be a thinker more than anything, its just likes chess.... just at 150 mph, lol.
