05 GSXR 1000 Top Speed?

My R1 topped out at 196 (indicated) while hitting the revlimiter in 6th gear.

Does it affect you that much that some random guy 1500 miles away went and paid his own money for a 1000?
Do we really have to fight over who uses the back brake or not?

but your R1 ain't nowhere near stock

How much HP is that thing layin down?

I wonder if you did that on the same "closed course" I used with a "professional rider"

There are alot of those closed courses around here. I went to South Hillsborough County. There's (at the time) a freshly paved road that connects 301 and 41 with nothing but orange groves on the sides. It's straight for about 3-4 miles. I was able to hold it at 194-196 for about 5-6 seconds.

Well buddy remove the gov. and u will hit 198 199 under the sheild on a bone stock gsxr 1000 2005...Thats why im selling my 900rr to get me the 2005 gsxr

And if u gonna test your top speed never do it on 75 where a animal can run out in front of u do it on a brige with no cars at that speed u cover ground like a jet
