this does need to be stickied
He is definately someone that is a living example of how a split second on a motorcycle can change your life forever.
He did not let it get the best of him, but it sure did make a noble attempt at it.

We used to have a sticky for all the rider down threads.... I got preoccupied for a few months and stopped updating it.
There were several lessons to be learned in it.... we may need to take the time to resurrect it.

.....hear of people dying at speeds half of what I was doing. AGAIN EVERYONE BE SAFE IT'S BOTHERING ME TO SEE THAT WE ARE LOSING SO MANY RIDERS LATELY AND OTHERS ARE GOING DOWN WITH PRETTY SEVERE INJURIES. granted its not always the riders fault that these accidents occur but there is a time and a place for us to act a fool, and everyone does once an a while riding we didn't buy them to drive like granny's. just ride smart I'd hate to hear we lost another.

Walter, glad you're healing and here to do a bit of "show and tell".
Big Walt is no punk.... he was in a horrific accident and is still around to tell the tale

I just reread my post and i didn't meant it to sound like he's a bad guy or anything. I read through the whole thread and can tell he's a cool guy for not letting it get to him, if it happened to me i'd be a lot worse
, this thread made me realize that more than anything.
Walt would be the first to tell you the story.
One minute your ridin your Busa, next thing you know you in a Helo with your life hanging on by a thread.
Many have been fortunate to learn from his (and others) accidents.
We gotta look out for each other.
