It should be a law that ALL squids are required to take a class prior to even being able to purchase a bike. No class.... No tag. JMHO...anyone who even thinks about getting on a bike as a driver or passenger should have ALL the gear on.
Glad you are okay dude. I fought with the hubby man about wearing gloves for so long. I just didn't like not being able to "feel" the throttle. It really became a fight until he said, you will thank me if you ever go down, because instinks tell you to put your hands out. I went down and GD he was right...yeah I hate when he is right...lol

Squid, as in ANYONE regardless of age who has never owned a bike. IMHO no one under 21 should own a sport bike.

the word means like 20 different things... everyone fits one of them.
oh and yes, by the oldest deff that I remember hearing, we are all squids before we learn to ride. not sure of the wording but was something about riding like a real squid swims... turns slow as fuck and can't hold a line then squits out of the corner like a squid running from a shark(or whatever eats squid) its been modded to add in stupid stunt kids(because the just piss off anyone thats not one of them) but it all goes back to people that don't know how to ride....
all it is, is a different way of saying that person doesn't know what they are doing.
I call stupid people retards, its not right to say but it fits and everyone understands what I mean, so I do it.... like I would say, I don't like that guy, he's a fucking retard. and everyone knows what I mean by that. the word squid is the same way for older riders.

I pretty much agree...
you give a group of 16year old boys sport bikes and let them free to rome the streets of tampa and a few of them are going to die, pretty quickly at that.
but what can ya do, I never vote to take away any of the few rights we have left.
