Same shit happened to me last year on The Causeway... dumbass turned in front of me and i tboned him... my broken bones were not as bad as yours I had on a leather jacket that minimized the damage to my arm...but it really made me realize just how quick it can happen...

its not a matter of IF...but WHEN.

 

I know this was just to be an eye opener but this makes me rethink of purchasing a bike at all. i'm not sure if i want to put my girl, and my mom through the thought that every time i get on my bike i might be in an accident on my bike. i know lots and lots of people who didn't get this badly hurt but at the same time i know the 2-3 that have.

yea you should think it over a lot ... i should've waited myself but i'm trying to be as safe as possible. you live in Port Charlotte (PC?) if so, if you get a bike let me know ... i ride up there a lot on weekends
