My mom won't stop running her mouth about this..."Bla bla bla well soon enough you won't be able to afford your bike because they will force you to have insurance". This must be what she is talking about.

 

+1....sounds like if it was the rider's fault she's shit outta luck, but in many cases it is the driver of another vehicle's fault. In which case if you run your bike into a car because they pull out in front of you, it will do minor damage to the car and probably kill you or mess you up for life! (That is why liability is so damn cheap though) Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that when you get into a car accident that your insurance pays for your passengers, but that girl definitely should take responsibility for her actions and pay for her own medical bills even if she did suffer permanent damages to her body. It's the risk she took. It's not like you can haul around 4 people on your bike like you can in a car! Most people have medical insurance anyhow,,,especially at her age...Sucks when rates go up though....

 

yeah the rider was stupid for going that fast...but she could of easily said na I don't wanna ride...most ppl know how fast bikers go...and for the most part none of us have insurance (I know there are some) one accident and one womans voice isn't gonna change a law thats been sittin this way for a long time....theres too many bikers who will vote against it...Yes it sucks that she got hurt...and that she has to pay...but hell thats what happens, it could happen walking down the street, does that mean you need walking insurance No...shit happens...her HEALTH INSURANCE should cover her damages, and if not...Lesson learned....shitty way to learn it, but learned never the less

 

well when everyone thinks its not fair that bikes don't need insurance. so i think one person that makes enough noise will be heard and i give it a year till we all have to pay way to much to own a bike to make it worth it.


i checked back when i was looking for a bike and it was more a year than for my car. just crazy. with that and the price of gas these days someone want to front me the money to get the fuck out of the shit whole this country is becoming?

 

If she were hit by another car, then that person's insurance would take care of her, but apparently this is not the case. I assume then that the person who she was riding the bike with wrecked it on their own accord. While they should man up and help her out, its still her fault for getting on something without making sure that things will be taken care of if anything were to go wrong.

And what's her mom doing letting her fuck around with bikers at the age of 16??? We're fucking crazy... we shouldn't be let around stupid, trashy, young girls!

 

In the video, the motorcycle crash that just happend. I saw it on my way home from work in the morning, the bike was fucked up.

If the bike was that fucked did the rider die?

 

The video shows pictures of her and she had serious road rash on the side of her face... Sooooo I guess she wasn't wearing a helmet.

She looks like the typical skeezy 16 year old though... The dude on the bike was probably like some drugged out 28 year old headbanger. Mmm stereotypes....

all i know is, if someone wrecks their bike into mine and they don't have insurance, they'd better man up and pay out of pocket QUICKLY. either that, or they'd better have baseball bat insurance for their car and good smoke alarms for their house, and hope their pets are immune to rat poison and ball peen hammers.

bottom line is the wreck was the fault of the owner of the bike, NOT the girl that was riding pillion. therefore he's legally liable for her injuries.
