I was told that this month cycle world picked the 10R over gixxer also. Like i said, it depends whom you believe or ask. whatever though.... pick your poison..

 

I think when it comes to the 1k's the Gixxer has it.

But in the 600 class... No if ands or buts the 636 is on top.

But all in all just like you said.. lots of mixed reviews.

 

oh and did anyone find out an out the door price?

 

ARS Suzuki in Okechobee has the cheapest prices i have seen on ANY bikes...

But people had their deposits down months before they were even out. so good luck!

Dealer cost is 8380 for the k5, if memory serves (not including any kickbacks)



having ridden for over 14 years, and owned gsxr's since the 88 slingshot 750, i can EASILY say this thing totally eclipses all expectations and experiences i have ever had. it already feels as strong as my k2 (but just a lil less quick... this will change!!)

i also dont like the factory pics of the bike either; they are totally unflattering.

perhaps this gives a better feel?
