It depends on whos numbers you believe. Suzuki always gets the hype. I know a racer that has one, and said dont believe the hype, hes not that impressed. Its slower than a 10R. Pesonally I dont care whos a little faster, cause it wont be much either way. But yes, you are entitled to your opinion and to those suzuki supported magazines.

I like the new CBR 1000....mostly for the undertail exhaust feature but other than that I've heard nothing but good things. Cecil, you plan on sticking with Suzuki no matter what it sounds like?

Dynos... also some people from gixxer forums have raced heads up and came out on top every time...

Either way its close. But i know the 1k has the advantage.

And also... I know for a fact that a 1000rr and an 05 R1 cannot beat an 04 1k... i raced em and all times (from few different rolls) i would come out winning.

And the 05's are faster then the 04's.... rr / r1 hasnt changed anything.

Yeah im sure the people on gixxer.com are totaly unbiased, dont belive everything you read on the internet an in suzuki sponcered magazines.

But Like bobster said it doesnt even matter which is faster on paper its all about the rider.

Just cause you beat one an a highway race doesnt determine a suzuki is faster. Now if you rode all of them on a track an you could let go of you love for suzuki an ride all of the equally then you would have something worth quoting.

I can tell you this much. In the 1/4. The suzuki doesnt beat the 10R times. You may wanna check that for power. Go hang out at the strips and see for yourself. Or take the rider out, and do a roll on and see whats up. All new bikes are close enough. It should just depend on personal tastes and fit. Or go with your loyalty if thats what youre all about. Just do something...
