thermostat or no thermostat

Just plop another honda one in there and cross your fingers this time. How did you deterimine it was the thermo, any debree in there, you may want to reflush the system even if its not really needed just to make sure. My bike is also known for the CCT going. I have to go across the pond to get the good one from my sister bike the X-11.

boiling water and not movement from the thermostat. when you drop it in the boiling water the spring should either contract ot expland. i don't remember which. just knnow mine did nothing

wonder if its like cars and you can just buy a cooler one. like a 160 or something

75degrees celcius

i couldn't even find an aftermarket one much less a cooler one. and honda doesn't have a cooler one either. i already asked.

not to but in. your thermostat has to be there to restrict the water flow through the water jacket or else it will not have a chance to cool the motor down.

read a lot about that with cars too but never seen it in real life or at the track.

but i think i will keep track of the head temp before and after.....just to make sure

okay just got the thermostat . i am getting ready to reinstall everything. wish me luck. god i hope i don't have any left over bolts. i so hate that.
