My brother is an Osceola Sherrif's officer and they have 2 Gixxer 600's all painted up Sherrif style. The idea is in place elsewhere in Florida so, it doesn't seem so far fetched of an idea for them to do it here. If they could actually catch us on the bikes and ticket us - then it's a source of revenue to pay for the insurances, salaries, maintenance, etc... They had somone go undercover on a sportbike on Saturday night rides about a year ago in Pinellas - that's how they were getting to the spots so quickly after we got there.

 

Crazy.

my brother used to tell me how this cop used to ride with them and they would haul ass all the time and 1 time they got pulled over and the cop that was riding with him got him and the other people that were there out of getting a ticket, and the cop that pulled them over told my brother to go by the guy a beer cuz he got them out of a ticket..! lol

It's true. I talked to some guy i randomly met, and he said a few cops ride with them, and if they get pulled over then they all get out of tickets b/c the cops handle it.
