I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

I got it all figured out but before I clicked pay now for the registration I started going on websites looking for the parts I need to at least run my car with this suspension. No rear sway bar would be foolish to even spend the $30 to go out there because it would be an understeering disaster.

Yep they all have cotter pins. On accident one time though I used a little hitch pin and it put a groove in my rotor. Still waiting to see what happens with that.

I'll pass on some advice that was given to me when I first started autocrossing that saved me some money. Just come run what you have before throwing money at it. Learn to drive the car as well as you can before you dump money modifying it. It was real eye opener for me when I had an instructor get in my car and shave a bunch of time off my best. I had to tune the nut behind the wheel (still working on that part) before buying parts to get faster.

Just come out and have a good time learning your car. Driver mods are the most effective and least expensive. Hope to see you out there.
